THE WEEK IN REVUE

Highlights that happened this week. Don’t worry, you’re not missing anything (now, that is).
1. Two of my linen closet favorites collided to make the blue-and-white bathrobe of our dreams, so now you can be lazy and still feel beautiful about it. Trend alert: watch for “bathleisure” to be added to the dictionary next year. (And btw, it’s India AMORY, not ARmory, and it’s LeviOOOsa, not LeviosAAA for Weezie Printed Long Robe)
2. Aerin Lauder and her Parisian “flat” graced the cover of Elle Decor and we all lost our collective minds. It’s Lauder like you’ve never seen her before in the chicest of chic interiors. You need to pick up the actual magazine for full effect, but you can read an abbreviated version here. Did I mention I LOVE Aerin Lauder?
3. I changed a few (ok, every single one in the house) lightbulbs. Christian Ladd Interiors illuminated the confusion around how to select the right bulb for your space, and I have long awaited this shedding of light. Lightbulb shopping is the worst, but now it doesn’t have to be. Lighten up.
4. WRJ Design of my hometown of Jackson Hole was featured on House Beautiful, and some exciting, related things are still to come here on the blog, so please stay tuned! As House Beautiful re-brands, it has been the recipient of a lot of documented flack, but for me, this piece was absolutely on point for the HB we know and love.
5. I’ve had too much of summer in Texas, and I made salad to that end. Credit is fully due to Food52, from where both the recipe and the catchy title are adapted. Make it this weekend, but don’t forget to rinse before you eat.
Bon weekend!
